MOTHER at George Mason University
MOTHER is a group show curated by Laurel Nakadate, Don Russell, and Lily Siegel that explores contemporary ideas of motherhood from a diversity of perspectives through the medium of photography. The show includes work by Kereszi, Nakadate, Cathy Opie, Laurie Simmons, Marilyn Minter, Justine Kurland, Malerie Marder and more. MOTHER is the third iteration of this exhibition co-organized by Nakadate, previous versions of which were shown at Leslie Tonkonow Artworks + Projects, New York, in 2018 and at the University of New Mexico Art Museum in 2020.
