Group Exhibition - Beyond Words: Photography in the New Yorker Magazine
Howard Greenberg Gallery will open the fall season with Beyond Words: Photography in The New Yorker. Curated by Elisabeth Biondi, who was the magazine’s former Visuals Editor, the exhibition will examine the publication’s incorporation of photography as an important element of each issue.
The exhibition will feature work by many important editorial and fine art photographers including Ruven Afanador, Richard Avedon, William Klein, Lisa Kereszi, Mary Ellen Mark, Helmut Newton, Platon, Robert Polodori, Martin Schoeller,and Max Vadukul.
