Nasty Women New Haven Exhibition
New Haven is one of 40 cities to join the nationwide movement to organize a Nasty Women exhibition in the first days of Republican President-elect Donald Trump’s term in office. As we stand together in this exhibition, amid our cultural contributions, we hope to recognize the collective muscle of our intellect, humor, and craft. Working in values-based solidarity, we form our own wall, and face the threats of an administration that seeks to rule through bullying, shaming, bending words and casting fear on those without power. We are nasty, loud, peaceful, tolerant, caring, and unafraid and we demand to be recognized and respected as such.
